Z Bar Restaurant & Sky-Lounge in New York City

The food was good. The service was good. The beer was really good.

Waitress pretty much ignored our table the whole time. Took a couple of attempts to even flag her down for refills and items missed on an order. Food was so so. Don't bother getting the steak frites, it is definitely not worth that price. Fries were bland, tater tots were good, and chips were good. Inferno burger was good. Fried pickles were actually the best I've ever had.

Relaxed atmosphere with the potential to be fun, be chill or be romantic. I had the bam jam burger with a side salad. The salad was quite large and satisfyingly fresh. The burger was one of my top five - the bacon jam was delicious! I cut the burger in half with the intention of taking half home for lunch the next day, but it was so good, I gobbled the whole burger!

The very unique tandoori chicken tacos were delicious!!

Z's is a unique spot in GR. Given its location, the clientele is a fun mix of locals and out-of-towners from the swanky hotels nearby. Good food for a late night bite and karaoke if that's your thing. One of my favorite spots for last call.

OMG ribs!! Falling-off-the-bone tender and succulent, I got them with the spicy sauce. I got double cole slaw instead of fries...what a great choice, the slaw tastes freshly made and it’s crunchy freshness was a perfect balance with the tender ribs. It also provided cool refreshment to the spice of the ribs. Perfection!!! Had a delicious Bloody Mary with it all.

Ordered wings and a chili I've had their wings before and loved them this time was very different I was given 4 flats and one drum and 1 peice that I couldn't identify. The chilli was good but there was a hole in the bottom of my container

Ordered steak medium got it well done zero pink at all. Tried taking a bite and it was way to tough. Server was rude about having it remade. It was still over cooked. We had a bill over $500 really unfortunate I couldn't be treated better.

Great convenient spot to meet downtown. They stay open until 2 and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting! Love the staff! Super friendly and professional!

Came here several times during our short trip to GR. Enjoyed every meal and drink we got. The service was good, the place was clean, and we enjoyed the lottery machine for some Keno.

We love sitting at the bar and the bartender was so kind and informative! Not only did she help us with the menu but with our questions about the city. I had the chicken ranch wrao which was probably THE BEST chicken wrao ive had! Also its decorated cute!

It's an institution in the Grand Rapids area. You know it's good when you see mostly locals and people that work around there. Great food, fair prices, nice little liquor store downstairs.

We enjoyed lunch on NYE with our family! Server was very polite, quick and accommodating with our younger children! The food was so so good!!

I should have come here last night ! Went for lunch instead , very good choices, prices are reasonable and super friendly . Highly recommended and I will be back !

Working late night in retail or the service industry it's hard to find a quick place to grab something to eat and maybe a drink. Z's service good till 2am and they have a decent menu. The service has always been quick and the drinks always strong. Also the karaoke is worth checking out too!

Love this place. The has been there forever so there is always a familiar face and the food is fantastic. Great selection of liquor, beer and wine. Food is served late and the location is right in the middle of all the hotels. The liquor store is in the basement.

The pizza that we had was delicious, it was tasty, juicy and fluffy, the service is fast and the prices are good!

Food was good. Prices were good too. They have the menu labeled for allergies or dietary restrictions. Our waitress had a few mistakes but she was attentive. Staff overall was nice.Great spot for a big group. They were very accommodating. We had a great time. I will go back in the future.

best place for beers and foods till 2 am

My husband and I love this place, it's great place to sit down and have a nice dinner, the ribs are amazing and award winning too!! Or if you're just looking to have a quick couple of drinks before a concert or a show downtown it's great for that too as Z's is within walking to every venue downtown!! They have great dinner food and bar food as well so whatever you're in the mood for, they can accommodate! The beef nachos are a favorite as well and they use pulled beef which threw us at first but we ordered any way and I'm so glad we did, it was so much better than ground beef!! Like I said, never disappointed here, try it you won't regret it!!

Went there for lunch on 11/13/17. Service was very quick and the lunch menu is priced out decently for down town GR. I had the Inferno Burger which was excellent.

Went in for the $6 burgers. They are smaller than the normal burgers but not bad. They definitely could have used some seasonings though, pretty bland.

We like to visit Z's when we are in Grand Rapids. It is in a great location and the food is always delicious. I was super happy to see the impossible burger on the menu!

Fantastic food, very wide selection. They serve food right up until close which seems pretty rare. Prices are just a bit high.

1st ever dinning here. Very clean, friendly waitress, pretty fast service. Food was delicious and filling. 3 of us shared a 14" pizza and we couldn't finish it because we were full! Will be back again

Great food & atmosphere + they have a convenient store downstairs also. & To top it off they both stay open till 2am! +++.

Came here on a Friday, great experience overall. Did have a small issue and mentioned to staff.... not resolved that night but came back for a night cap next night, Saturday and Rob tracked us down and said “hey, you were in here last night, did “that” ever get rectified and i said no, and he rectified it.” Mad impressed, #nextlevel , Z’s rocks!!! Solid food, drinks, atmosphere and experience.

After walking the streets of Grand Rapids for hours we finally found a place we could enjoy. Good beer, great food, friendly service and home town atmosphere. Funny thing was it was right back next to our hotel.

Stopped in for a quick bite while in town for a day. Seems like a pretty solid place. The food was good and the service was friendly. I liked the atmosphere and it was very clean. I will definitely stop back in next time I'm in town to try out something more than sandwiches.

Nice staff and great drinks. Buffalo rolls are really good too.

Had a good local beer and some chicken tandoori taco’s. Quick and friendly service and the food was excellent.

The garlic wings were amazing and the potato skins were just ok it needed salt. The staff was horrible however. Our waitress didn't smile or say thank you plus it took close to 10minutes before she greeted us.

Z's is a really fun place to stop in and get some drinks/food. I like to take people here when we're moseying through GR. Could use an updated menu and some renovation but I'm pretty content with the way it is!

I came here on a first date. We had a really great time and we ended up being completely smitten with each other and the venue. The bartender was quite skilled in her drink making. Definitely will be back.

Coming from Detroit, I really liked this place. It has a decent atmosphere, wasn't too loud, and the staff was very friendly. I sat with a pint while waiting for a pizza to take back to my hotel. It was comfy and laid back, which is just what I was looking for. And the pizza is pretty good as well. Definitely better than the chains I'm used to further East. I'd recommended grabbing a beer and a pizza if you're nearby.

Not a bad place, but there is definitely other restaurants in the area where the food quality and taste stands above this place. It's a sports bar with above average bar food. The menu could use an overhaul with some dishes that use better, more profound ingredients.

Z's is a nice combination of bar/restaurant atmosphere for downtown. Serves food til 2am which is great for taking advantage of a downtown/late night snack! Party tried the Home Run. This "sampler platter" was not bad. The buffalo chicken eggroll was the best. Service was friendly.

Even though the place is always packed, the food that comes out is delicious and the service is fast.

This place was packed! Not that dis not slow down the service, had a great effective and smooth flowing team. Loved it. New to the area and I will be back!

Great food, friendly and fast. Amazing reuben, house salad rocked, and baracoca (sorry not spelled correctly) Caribbean sandwich with pepper jack cheese sauce. I didn't get to try, husband would not share! I should have asked sooner 😊

Wings had a great amount of sauce, chicken fell off the bone. Loaded tater tots were yummy, just add a touch of sour cream.We can say with absolute certainty that Nick is an amazing server. Never once did we have to look for him, he never forgot a drink, brought our food right out while it was hot, didn't seem harassed having to squeeze through our huge group to deliver cocktails. We'd come back over and over, especially if Nick is there 😁
